I was pleasantly surprised.
Why is it that the Simpson trial and his acquittal seems to be "the go to" example for injustice? Especially for white people?
I mean, there are so many other contemporary examples to choose from: The acquittal of the police who beat Rodney King comes to mind. How about the acquittal of the police who killed Amadou Diallo? Y'all seem to have been very forgiving of Klaus von Bulow, who I might add was aided in his defense by one Alan Dershowitz.
So, no tom, I don't get a "pit in my stomach" because of O.J. Sorry, sport. Not feeling you on that one.
