3. I couldn't help but think about Puerto Rico and the families at the border

It has been life or death for many for a long time

We couldn't stop him despite strong evidence that he was responsible for thousands of deaths in Puerto Rico because of an inadequate response to the hurricane

We haven't stopped him from endangering the lives of men, women, and children at the border - people have died

We couldn't stop him when he abandoned the Kurds and left them to die

Having an administration that doesn't care if we live or die is terrifying.

My brother died because he had no access to medical care at the age of 55. He was poor, sick and unemployed. Our state refused Medicaid expansion

People are going to die. Elections matter. To some, it means life or death
