These types will often say stuff like, “Everything is just an opinion anyway.”

Truth is secondary to feeling good about themselves.

Trump strokes their egos during those rallies, despite how many of them are indeed deplorable, and hence they’re loyal.

Other feel-good stuff:
A heavenly after-life.
The USA is the greatest country on Earth.
“Superior” skin pigmentation.
