They are crazy as fuck but the heavy handed stuff is overkill and just makes them NOT want to comply. I would let them do their thing but not let them out to infect other parts of the country if they are not going to comply. Eventually enough of them will be sick they might get a clue. If not then that is their own choice to be stupid.
