There are areas which observed strict precautions, as you said, where opening up certain venues is relatively safe. But there are other areas in states that didn't follow protocol and cases are spiking right now - where returning to life as we knew it would be foolhardy, despite anyone's age. And the 100+ year olds that Bill mentioned made news headlines for a reason.
