You know, that's something I've thought about for ages - how so many countries in the world have had female leaders, but for reasons unknown to me, we never have here. Just offhand, I'm thinking of Indira Gandhi, Golda Meir, Benazir Bhutto, Margaret Thatcher, Angela Merkel, Theresa May, Mary Robinson, Jacinda Ardern - and obviously several of these were in office decades ago!

So what's wrong with us?? This time around, all I care about is replacing Trump, but it does not speak well for this country that we still have yet to break this barrier. And given what we've witnessed for the last 3+ years, losing the progress we've made on so many fronts, it doesn't speak well for Americans.
