Later I suppose, they'll claim they had no idea he was so corrupt.

We look around the world both today and throughout history and often wonder how did some guy, often unimpressive, take over an entire country in a short period of time? And why did so many people allow it to happen? It appears, we are no better than anyone else. Its an old playbook and it still works.
