because it warns us, and exhorts us, to save our democracy and heal the rifts in our body politic.

It was very subtle. It appears to be about supporting Joe and Kamala, about citizenship and voting, about Trump's unfitness for office.

But it's more than that. It's a warning. This is our last chance. No do-over if the comb-over guy wins.

Obama here is intense, worried, optimistic, fearful. It is a speech that will never be forgotten because of his tone.

And what does Trump expect from the guy? Trump spent 12 years lambasting Obama with birtherism born in Kenya and 4 years declaring Obama's administration as a den of lawlessness. Trump should not be surprised to be bludgeoned with the truth. Trump has earned it.
