What point was made here?

Americans were once thoughtful enough and had enough sense of other to know WHY you wear a mask during a pandemic. We need to build community again, not to be offensive to "prove" our sense of self, worth or ideals. It's NOT CAPITULATING it is RESPECTING others through the positive actions we take.
