Not a scientific study, I know, but the only evangelical I've ever known personally was a fellow school teacher. She came right out and told me that God doesn't mind if Xians like her break the commandments on things he doesn't care about.

One of the examples she gave was doing her taxes at work during the school day when she was supposed to be teaching a class. The other was cheating on her taxes. They simply do not practice what they preach for others.
