(732 posts)Many may recall dancing in spirit, speaking in tongues, slain in spirit where they fall to the ground, etc.
Then there's the evil spirit, I forgot the name for it, but it's a laughing or hilarity spirit. Here's something to add, I recall being taught two of these spirit types have rank! So here the preacher, reverend or whatever, is leading the mantra and I'm sure elders have done this before so they join in unison and before you know it, everyone's hoping to please the pastor or whatever, but this is a form of programming or bonding. Kinda cultish really!
Ask yourself... Would this bless the body of believers in attendance? I'd be a little freaked out like I was when I first heard speaking in tongues. Or, force them to act out this way in reverence or simply a chanting tradition where they simply think they are getting divine revelations to laugh out loud. You can hear by his forced laughs that it's fake! But people that attend Laughing Yoga say it makes them happy too so? That said, this was a freak show!
