(Original Caption) 10/1/1968-Washington, DC- Jerry Rubin, a bearded, bare-chested yippie leader, holds a toy M-16 rifle as he arrives to appear before the House Un-American Activities Committee 10/1. Rubin, a leader of the Youth International Party, described himself as the "guerilla of the future." The committee is investigating street disorders during the Democratic National Convention at Chicago in August.
