5. New York is still right up there, though likely from the more populated areas

However, I just read today that there were 13 new cases in my upstate mostly rural county, 129 active cases total. It said that most were from work related exposure which I don't really understand since masks and distancing are required just to enter any business, grocery, pharmacy, gas station, bank, anywhere. Front line workers were offered the vaccine first, early on. And it took awhile, but pharmacies started offering the vaccine, that's where I got mine, though the closest one was immediately completely booked, so I got mine in a nearby town, but I didn't mind. And now they're offering the vaccine at both a town (old Sears store at the local mall) and a county site which are going to be needed now that everyone over 16 is now eligible. So New York has done a pretty good job, hope that you're able to get yours soon.
