7. I did think of that, my great grandparents came from Ireland

She came as a child with her family and he came as a young man. Their two eldest sons signed up to fight for this country during the Great War and summer before last I went to a ceremony for my great uncle who was given the Silver Star. Two separate congressional delegations brought his children flags that flew over the Capitol. And yet, at the time, his parents weren't welcome here.
