Welch seems like standard-issue moron, incapable of following a logical train of thought.

In my work I've crossed paths with quite a few venture capitalists; men of Romney-type wealth. None of them struck me as being particularly intelligent, and many actually seemed like idiots. They were just confident and assertive.
