the Air Force Base here was running big time and we heard them all the time. Every time there was a big boom we loved it. For some reason, probably nostalgia, I kinda miss that. The last time I heard one was when the space shuttle came over and it was a double. We were building my house and the workers and I stood outside looking for it and saw it come over and heard the booms. I would not want to hear them all the time again, however. They did kind of shake up things. Who ever would have thought of using something called a silencer?
