4. From what I've heard, those who got the Pfizer seem to have had much less of a reaction

My friend who works in the hospital ER got hers early on - though she had to drive an hour downstate to a major hospital to get it - said she only had a slightly sore arm, and that's what I've heard from most of those who also got the Pfizer. And now that's available as well in my neck-of-the-woods, Walgreens is offering Pfizer and CVS (where I got mine) is offering Moderna.

But now we have both a large state and county site and as of last Thursday the state site started accepting walk-ins. So I took my chance and tried again to convince my brother to get vaccinated. He isn't anti vax, but he's agoraphobic, rarely leaves the house, so he seems to think he'll be okay. *sigh*

But the state site is in the old Sears store at the local mall which is only about a mile away, so I gave it one more try and my brother gave in and went with me! They asked him a lot more questions than I ever had to answer - my friend suggested this is because it's run by the state - but he got the shot, has an appointment for #2 in 3 weeks. And I'm grateful it was Pfizer since he said he had no reaction at all. I think he probably gave in since he was just sick and tired of hearing me!
