It sends me over the edge that there are these control freaks who think they have the right to legislate the behavior and lives of people they will never know. There is no way of knowing what a stranger is going through. Someone who knew nothing about politics once asked me what was the difference between liberals and conservatives - and the simplest explanation I could give - relating to what was going on at the time - was that "conservatives" want to tell everyone else what to do.
