4. I can't help but believe she's having a negative effect on their ratings.

I remember reading, somewhere, that ratings were up when she was on maternity leave. Shortly after she returned, they started to drop. I usually just mute her but I reached a point, a while back, where I just had to take an extended break from the show. Now I'm back to muting.

I follow The View's FB page and for every rare support comment she gets, there are dozens and dozens of 'TAKE HER OFF THE SHOW' comments.

It's my understanding that the head of the ABC news division just loves her. And I doubt she'll ever choose to leave. Where else would she go, besides setting up some sort of You Tube channel. I seriously doubt she has a big enough fan base to support something like that. Personally, I think she should just put her BA in Art History to use and take a job in some museum's basement.
