It may be too little, too late in some locations, but it's a positive step in any case. I truly don't understand how anyone can ignore the overwhelming news - especially since it's been going on for so long - all across this country and in every country in the world.

And I'm fine with employers mandating the vaccine, especially among health care workers. I also posted a video the other night of 4 nurses trying to explain why they're not getting vaccinated! The thing is, growing up we had vaccines to prevent disease since we were babies and small children, polio, smallpox, I don't even know them all, but I can even remember getting vaccines in school.

I also have a friend who returned to college a few years ago and she had to receive the MMR vaccine before she was allowed to attend classes. I drove her to get it and there was nothing controversial about it, she just did it - and she can't be the only one.

It's good news that some Republicans are promoting it, it's just too bad that they waited so long, they might have saved lives if they'd spoken up before. And it is extremely good news that DeSantis is being ignored. He said he opposed masks for school children because he wanted to see his own children smile! And in response to this, an ER doctor on MSNBC the other night said "You know who isn't smiling? Kids in ICU with Covid."
