I hope that they continue the mask mandates when schools open next month here in New York. They were in effect last year, I saw even the youngest kids still wearing masks when they got off the school buses. Yet there still were several Covid outbreaks locally, both in the high school and elementary, causing shutdowns. I sure hope that the high school and junior high students got fully vaccinated, let alone teachers and staff.
