7. This Bill Maher piece on Real Time shows this in detail

Bill Maher showed a piece on Real Time back on March 9th with Alexandra Pelosi interviewing random Mississippi voters & asking about their views on politics.
Mississippi is said to be the poorest state in the United States & many people there live in poverty levels.
But these guys would rather vote for the Republicans citing God than vote for Democrats like Obama who could help them come out of that poverty.
One old guy in it was damn near toothless & living in squalor in some shack.
Alexandra told him that voting for the Republicans wasn't doing anything for you & he said "But it could".
She said "But it hasn't". He came back with "But it could".

Incidentally he's on Food Stamps but says he hates governmental interference.
This is the bigot block I say we're up against.
Their numbers ARE eroding but there's still a whole lot of them left.
And all of 'em ain't necessarily toothless living in squalor.
They are still fighting the Civil War & Civil Rights right on to this day.
And when the Democratic Party atoned for its past through FDR & JFK, these guys derailed the momentum of New Deal simply because they hate the Negroes (and any other they put on the level of the Negroes).

Watch this in action right here on Bill Maher's segment.
Obama's 2nd term is gonna damage their psyches.

Incidentally Mississippi still carries that Rebel Battle Flag on their State flag.
They're STILL fighting it.
