The twelve months of the year. And a symbol of a circle divided into 4, the 4 seasons, which was the common Cross symbol early on. Because the Sun was so important for crops and harvesting.

At some point it evolved to deifying the sun, into the Son. So a privileged group could control the population. It was co-oped which is what this person is concentrating on.

Its pretty simple and clear, and not that complicated to see its origins. And its fascinating to see how many tangents and denominations humankind came up with from that base belief. How elaborate some of the ceremony is, especially in the high catholic church. The God part of the brain makes us waste a lot of time.
