Or self-coup (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Self-coup) when the currently ruling party tries to hold onto power illegally.

These stumble-bums can't help but incriminate themselves. In the end, just having them all on tape describing their attempts and ineptitude might assuage some of the pain we feel about the assault on democracy.

Incarceration and humiliation will be wonderful.
