Everyday it gets a little worse and continues to metastasize.
The patient, us - our country - is growing increasingly ill.

Many folks are hoping for a miracle cure, as if it will all go away someday. As if the cancer will itself kill off itself. It won't.
It has to be eliminated. It has to be destroyed. Problem is, that requires massive voting against the cancer but the cancer has debilitated the patient enough to prevent the patient's ability to vote.
Can the country survive the surgery necessary to remove this cancer?

If you think this is bad, wait until November. If the cancer is not defeated then, we're toast.
