12. What were these people thinking?

Did any of them think ahead?

What would happen AFTER the insurrection, if it had worked?

Obviously not, otherwise their reaction may have been more cautious, like . . . . Err, no, not getting involved with that!

Instead, they went ahead, in their droves.
Now the shock-horror of it all sinks in.
A threat of jail time can do that.
Even to the thickest of Americans.

I know some people aren't very smart, but why so many is the USA?
Something in the water, a bad education system, bad parenting? Media having a field day with propaganda?

She might be wishing for the ground to open up and swallow her, but I'd prefer a jail to do that instead.
