but an hour or more before it was aired, Trudeau came out of quarantine (he tested positive last week for covid and was in isolation before that when 2 of his kids tested positive so he was not in hiding) and was on the floor of parliament denouncing the so called protest and made it very clear he would not be backing down and called out the conservatives that were supporting the truckers. They sent in 275 RCMP to help Ottawa police and the province has sent in the provincial OPP. The citizens of Ottawa won a court order today to have them stop honking and have a class action suit for $9m against the organizers. There is an opening for RW in the conservative party but it is not a winning strategy and hopefully they will lose a lot of support. Even the provincial conservative premiers (like Ford in Ontario) have denounced these asshats and if Ford isn't on your side, then I don't know how you gain more supporters.
