There to make sure people don't die from this. A 10-foot storm surge is expected to hit Connecticut. Naturally, this will be effecting all those places on the water. And cold temperatures with snow possible, mixing with the storm, is a serious matter.

This sounds very much like the hurricane a friend said happened in the thirties in that area in November. She and her husband were on their way from Massachuetts to Florida. She said NYC flooded, they had a terrible time traveling.

Here's hoping they are exaggerating, too. But 'Better safe than sorry.' I'm hoping this won't affect turnout as much as some have reported it might.
