Just very misguided. She reminds me of Ernst Thalmann, the German Communist leader who refused to make common cause with the SPD and was happy when Hitler was appointed Chancellor. "Now the revolution will happen," he reasoned. Within two months he was in jail, and kept there until executed in 1944.
