much like Krusty, from The Simpsons, he's aware that dropping his pants and taking the occasional pie to the face (like he did on Letterman over the Made in China ties) is the only way he makes his fortune.

So, YOU know he's a clown, HE knows he's a clown....the only thing that's pitiful is that half the GOP base thinks he's for REAL. We saw that when he momentarily ran for the GOP nomination, and instantly pulled 20 points ahead of Romney (and 40 points ahead of GINGRICH).
