that gave the whole military plan to the west in October. I have to wonder if the price wasn't all that high, that someone in Russian intelligence realized Putin is crazy, Hitler crazy, and needs to be stopped.

It also explains why US and UK intelligence got this one right while others were still in denial. That Putin invaded even after it was clear the plan had been compromised is just more proof he's nuts.
