10. I got my first shot on Jan 16 2021

There were 2400 slots offered by the Houston health department that were filled in 16 minutes. My son got me a slot and I had the fun time of waiting with 6000 people at Minute Maid Park in Houston. The second shot was more organized. Later in September, I had an antibody test as part of the UT CARES study and found that I had a low antibody count. My doctors had me get my first booster earlier than normal and I have had antibody levels in excess of the maximum measured by this test.

My various doctors are all amazed that I have not caught COVID. The last antibody test showed I have not had COVID but still had a high vaccine antibody level. No one is sure if this antibody level is determinative in that T-cells appear to play a major role in resistence to COVID.

My son was in the Pfzier antibody trial and got his first shots back in August of 2020 and was in the Pfzier booster trial.
