5. Book recommendation to fill in the FBI side of things: Classified Woman by Sibel Edmonds

I offer this just to broaden context, and just because I think Americans can never get enough info on their intelligence apparatus.

An FBI translator of Turkish and Farsi, having lived under Middle East dictatorships, Edmonds knows first hand what happens when government operates in secret.
