Importantly, we are seeing some of the fallout from the Department of Justice's decision NOT to indict Mark Meadows and Dan Scavino for defying lawfully issued congressional subpoenas, thereby committing the crime of contempt of Congress.
Cassidy Hutchinson's testimony reveals that her first attorney,
Donald Trump's former White House counsel ethics attorney Stefan Passantino, told her that she should just defy the subpoena from the January 6 committee because DOJ didn't prosecute Meadows or Scavino when they defied subpoenas.
