Woman's parked car struck by Houston Police Department patrol vehicle

1. This happened to me. Almost exactly the same.

Then the policeman that did it called in three other beefsteak cops and they kenneled both my husband and I. We are senior citizens btw. Later on the same cop got a front page article about how wonderful he was visiting young people over coffee.
We had to pay the damages and it affected our insurance as well. They claimed they had every right for him to speed over the limit, take the short cut even though the space was both too small and a blind spot.
