3. Side note.....THOM!!

What do we have to do to get progressive talk radio BACK to Portland Oregon? I left for a few weeks, and when I returned, the ONE AND ONLY progressive radio station - KPOJ - had transformed into a "sports station" - and a lousy one at that.

What the hell happened? Can we get some progressive radio back in the Pacific Northwest again? We have at least three, maybe as many as SIX radio stations blasting reich-wing nonsense 24/7 in this town. Don't leave us, PLEASE!!

We were able to enjoy Thom, as well as Randi Rhodes, Mike Malloy, Norman Goldman, Alan Colmes, and several other great voices of reason. Now, we have a void. ONLY NPR is left, and it is a great station, but hardly answers the needs for progressive talk.
