Mike looses it, talking about Jeremy Stodghill´s Story.
On New Year's Day 2006, Stodghill's wife, Lori, was 28 weeks pregnant with their twin sons.
She showed up at the emergency room of St. Thomas More Hospital in Canon City, Colorado. St. Thomas More Hospital is a Catholic owned institution.
Mrs. Stodghill ended up going into cardiac arrest while in the hospital's lobby. She died, as did her twin boys. Jeremy Stodghill was left to care for their daughter alone. He subsequently sued the hospital's parent company, Catholic Health Initiatives, for the wrongful deaths of his wife and their unborn twins.
The hospital's lawyers argued that a fetus is not a person until it's born, a defense that shocked Stodghill.
Life begins at conception...unless it costs money...
