17. Listen to the updated ABC link, what is not apparent on the first video are two things.

1. The video was taped by the policeman who hit him down, it is not taken by another party. When I saw the first video, I assumed
someone else, not involved in the incident, filmed this.

2. The video was sent to the TV station anonymously by an inside source from the Vallejo PD.

Granted the victim could have been more "receptive" upon first contact with the police, but it simply does not excuse the lack of professionalism, attitude and manhandling deemed necessary by the policeman. You can't go beating on every civilian because they have an attitude, esp. when they are reeling from a previous altercation or assault. All the cop had to do was use language, fists or force were not called for.
