I liked Miller's 90's standup and his HBO show. His jokes back then didn't target the left more than the right - he often went after rednecks or stupid conservative things. He might be someone who became more right wing after 9/11, but he seems to have completely sold out to become the FoxNews comic.
The right wing incarnation of Dennis Miller is about as funny as Sean Hannity and is one of the worst comics of all time, but I think he had reasonable talent before he sold out.
