In the actual disco era, I thought it was processed, shrill, boring. (Compared to punk, Springsteen, etc of the same era.)
Now it sounds pretty good. Donna Summers was wonderful.
The techno dance music, that heavy bass beat and the awful repetition ("Well, if you're on Ecstasy, it's great!"
now, sounds primitive and stupid in comparison.
Donna Summer really is great--
And you know, "Hot Stuff" would be a great song to play at my funeral.
