About 1:30 this morning a thunderstorm hit and I woke up "Oh shit, I left the truck windows down"
Ran outside and rolled them up. Came back in the house and slipped on the wet threshold and boom-down I went.
Took me about 5 minutes to get up and then the pain started in my left hip. Took me 20 minutes to get in the house, take some ibuprofen and get to bed-using a board as a crutch.
It was worse when I got up this morning-took me 45 minutes to get out of bed and make it to the computer room.
Every step I took was like doing Lamaze breathing.
Called my brother and he's coming by.
Good News: Nothing's broken
Bad News: Severe bruising on hip and thigh muscles
Bed rest. anti-inflammatory, pain killers.
Go see my regular Dr. at the VA tomorrow
