60. There are a few scenes which include on-screen violence; the film is more character/narration driven

The are more scenes, for example, of a character having a black eye whilst talking to another character than there are of said character getting said black eye.

That said, there are a couple very brief shots (a few seconds) of graphic violence or its aftermath. And if it is a concern, a few seconds of sexual content as well. But the general aesthetic of the main part of the film is dirty and grimy and everything feels more tainted than an objective tabulation of on-screen action would indicate.

As far as twists go, Fight Club is more of a third act twist than twist ending -- but a good twist nonetheless. And the aftermath of the twist is pleasingly frantic, well-edited, and as noted above ends with a great music cue.

And, I'd recommend this film just for the 3 main performances. If you've ever seen Edward Norton, Brad Pitt, or Helena Bonham Carter in anything and mildly enjoyed them onscreen, then this film is probably worth your time. Ed Norton and HBC in particular really nail it, especially in hindsight of the twist.
