I said I was going to house-train these dogs. Didn't happen.

Not only are they not house-trained, they are challenging authority--and not just mine. They challenge my guy's authority all the time. I think he feels that because he's out of the house for work that when he's home he has to give them their way when he is home. They take over his lap even when he says no and he doesn't put his foot down.

The female dogs both went into heat in the last week, and the boy dogs (despite being fixed) have been all over them.

So despite wiping up pee and poo and blood spots all over the place, I have been trying to separate the two males who are constantly fighting over which one of them will connect with the females.

It's exhausting and depressing.
