170. Almost missed the bus but here I am!

nolabear, aka Rebecca. I'm a middle aged shrink and writer. I talk too much and GD gives me the epizootic. I'm a screaming, bleeding heart damn near Socialist liberal but I often like un-PC humor.

I grew up in the South, on the Mississippi Gulf Coast and in New Orleans, which I love like a parent. Now I live in Seattle with my hubby of damn near 28 years, and two sons who live and work and go to school nearby. Oh, and two Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, Tucker and Merrily, Bunny the Cat and Pidge the African Grey. It gets loud.

I came here during the Obama election when I thought I'd gnaw off a limb if I saw She-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named give one more goshdarnedfuckingbatshitcrazy speech. These days I mostly hang in The Lounge because, well, GD gives me the epizootic.

Got a new novel out, and a new collection of poetry including mine will be out in March.

And you guys are smart and funny and don't give me the epizootic, and for that I am eternally grateful.
