8. Gall bladder

I was having sharp abdominal pains about 10 years ago. Doctors ruled out most things, so they did a test for gall bladder function. Test came back positive, so my gall bladder was removed. However, on pathological exam, the gall bladder was deemed to be normal. Cause of pain was never determined, though it went away by itself. So gall bladder was removed unnecessarily, but I have not noticed any difference with or without.
