86. The 2000 election had recently been STOLEN by bush/cheney.

I was feeling as glum and gloomy as could be. I was wandering around the internet and stumbled upon a website called Resident Bush. I liked the sound of that! Sure mirrored how I was feeling!

So I wandered around in the Resident Bush site, and eventually took note of the column of “sister sites” over on the left side of the screen. There I spotted DU and decided to take a look around in there, as well.

I’ve been (there) here ever since!

This was early in dubya’s stolen first term. First few months. March of that year, 2001, maybe? Long time! No regrets! Only time I haven’t been an active participant was during an exodus of Hillary supporters in the first half of 2016. I was one of those feeling forced to leave and seek refuge elsewhere, at least for awhile.
