(4,608 posts)Had to wear them a handful of times (weddings and such) and it was awful. I have shoe issues, so am either barefoot or in flops 90% of the time, and birkenstock clogs in the winter.
Tapered pants/skinny jeans. They just look goofy on me. All the women in my family have shortish, muscular legs and the narrowing makes the legs look shorter and bigger.
Actually, I hate the tapered leg look on men, too. Only exceptions: Steven Tyler and hair bands, lol! The suits and tuxes at awards shows look silly with the skinny, tapered pants and it makes their feet/shoes look oversized. Will be happy when it finally goes out of style. Long live bootcut and straight leg!
Make up. Can't do it. I cannot stand having anything on my face, and even glasses are an issue. In fact, I don't like having stuff constantly touching my skin in general. I live in sundresses or skirts and tank tops with the built in bra the fewest number of garments possible to still be decent. Winter is tough because I have to put on pants, socks, and a cardigan. Ugh. Socks. Heck, I've had dentures for 6 or 7 years and rarely wear them (unless out) because I can't stand having them in my mouth.
Don't know if this aversion to clothes/shoes/anything on me is a type of neurosis or if I'm just weird? Probably just weird.
