(10,337 posts)54. Actually, I tried to voleunteer for Habitat For Humanity.
One of the people who frequent Drinking liberally was, or maybe is, the girlfriend of one of the mucky mucks at Habitat. I asked her to have him give me a call as I can pretty much build a house from the ground up. From drawing the plans to doing the roof. It's what Ive done all my life. Because of the rules of my union AND the SSDI system, I can't recieve compensation for anything I might have to offer which means I could only work for free. I guess they tought I was full of shit because nobody bothered to contact me. Oh well. Maybe they hear that alot.
