56. Yeah, it's just kind of wierd.

First of all, I am very good at what I do.
When I was activlly involved in the industry, nobody batted an eyelash at paying me $1,000.00 a day to do work for them IF they were fortunate enough for me to take on their jobs. Now, I am offering my knowledge for free to help people who who are less fortunate and I get blown off. I'm discussing this with my wife right now but my ego says I shouldn't have to beg folks to let me help them for free. My wife, of course, liberal Commie Symp that she is, says just keep at it. I on the other hand, am inclined to just work on my sun tan, ride my bike and practice my guitar! Sadly, Liberal, Commie Symp that I am, I feel that I have a lot to offer and just feel that I shouldn't have to beg people for me to offer it. Not what I expected in my retirement.
