(6,913 posts)42. I remember the year I stopped wearing good-looking shoes: I had developed gout. Very painful.
I also remember the year I decided I would never wear pantyhose again (I am short and had to wear tight underpants over them to keep them up).
Its comfort for me, not style.

Similar to what we did in the Army. I was a tank crewman, so we did lots of maintenance.

Don't have a lot of shoes because once I like a pair, I wear them out. But, always polish my shoes.

meh. i gave up on shoes 2001. been barefoot mostly since. shoes getting uglier. my feet enjoying it
